1. Conclusion of a contract

The contract is concluded in compliance with the terms and conditions of the Swiss Code of Obligations. A reservation is seen as having been finalised when the payment or credit card guarantee has gone through. We maintain the right to charge the credit card given as a guarantee directly in cases of cancellation.

2. Booking

Bookings can be made comfortably, simply and quickly online or, of course, through the central booking office. The payment of the total booking amount has to be made on the day the booking is made or directly at the booking machines.

3. Prices / Payment Methods

The prices result from the conclusion of the contract in accordance with the underlying price list. Our prices are given in CHF and service charges and value added tax are included.

We accept the following payment methods: Mastercard, Maestro Card and Visa. Unfortunately, no personal cheques can be accepted. The following bank details should be used:

4. Check-in / Check-out Time

The room will be available for you from 3pm on your arrival date. We request that you vacate the room by 10am on your departure date.

5. 24/7 Automatic Check-in/ out

You can check in automatically 24 hours a day every day. For your safety and security, security cameras are installed throughout the hotel and at the entrance to the hotel. On request, it is possible to receive assistance from our reservation team while checking in and checking out. When checking out, please leave your key card in the letter box.

6. Early arrival and late departure

If you would like to arrive early on your arrival date and have your room immediately, we recommend that you reserve for the previous night as well.

7. Guaranteed reservation

For all reservations, a credit card is needed as a guarantee. Reservations can only be confirmed once a deposit has been paid.

8. Cancellation terms and conditions

The reserved room can be cancelled at no charge until 24 hours before arrival.

9. Fire Safety & smoking ban

  1. The fire safety regulations must be observed throughout the building.
  2. In accordance with the fire safety regulations, the use of kettles, mini-ovens, toasters, mini-ovens, electric irons, and similar devices, which are not part of the room facilities, is strictly prohibited!
  3. Should an attempt be made to wilfully take the smoke detector out of operation, this will be punished with a fine of at least CHF 100.00 per room or, where applicable, higher technical costs.  
  4. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms, as it is throughout the hotel premises. The Hotel Hoeri Inn is a non-smoking hotel. Should the fire alarm be set off, a charge of at least CHF 100.00 and, where applicable, the costs of deploying the fire service (at least CHF 1,000.00) will be passed on to the person responsible.
  5. In accordance with Swiss legislation, smoking is categorically forbidden at the Hotel Hoeri.
  6. Due to stipulations laid down by the fire service, illegally parked vehicles will be towed at the expense of the vehicle owner.

10. Services in the Hotel and rooms

Dining room/ lobby:
Flexible and uncomplicated self-service with a high-tech vending machine room: premium snacks, drinks and coffee machines.
Hotel Facilities:

  • Luxury furnished rooms with technological refinements. All rooms have a LCD TV with TV/ Radio, media hub, wireless, safe, non-smoking rooms.
  • Free wireless connection throughout the hotel through wireless or the network.
  • Free parking places

11. Children

Additional beds and cots have to be reserved 24 hours before your arrival through our hotline. Prices on request.

12. Car park

Short-stay, free parking spaces are available directly in front of the hotel. Long-stay parking spaces are available at attractive prices.

13. Pets

Pets are not permitted in the hotel.

14. Liability of the hotel

The hotel is liable for the possessions that guests bring with them in accordance with legal stipulations. Liability for slight negligence will be expressly excluded. Should the guest be injured or dissatisfied with the hotel, he/ she should report this to the hotel immediately, otherwise his/ her rights will no longer be enforcable.

Should the hotel not make the agreed hotel room available, the guest would be compensated for the ensuing damages in so far as they can be demonstrated. Should the hotel not be able to make the room reserved available on arrival, alternative accommodation in a hotel of the same standard would be organised and additional transport costs which exceed the price agreed in the contract would be covered.

All claims made against the hotel become statute-barred 6 months after departure, provided that the enforcing legal conditions do not allow for longer periods of time.

15. Final provisions

Changes or additions to the contract or the reservation confirmation are always made in written form, wherever possible. One-sided changes or modifications have no effect. With your signature, you accept the general terms and conditions. This contract is solely in accordance with Swiss law.

The parties of Hoeri in the canton of Zurich, Switzerland enter into this agreement solely on the basis of this jurisdiction.
